Prior edition: 2022 California Plumbing Code (based on the 2021 UPC), effective Jan. 1, 2023. One county codes page found during research mislabels the model code as a '2025 UPC' - the Commission's own materials control: the 2024 Triennial Cycle adopted the 2024 editions of the IAPMO model codes, and the model code for the California Plumbing Code is the Uniform Plumbing Code (CBSC CALCode Quarterly, Winter 2024; HCD initial statement of reasons for Part 2). The CBSC Codes page itself still leads with 2016-cycle text and was used only for the Part 5 publisher link, not for the edition facts.
