Working notes

SCOPE SPLIT, recorded plainly: the OAC 748:20-16 IPC adoption is framed as the statewide minimum for COMMERCIAL plumbing construction; one- and two-family residential plumbing rides the IRC plumbing chapters as adopted by the OUBCC (the CIB standard-of-installation rule confirms the split). The 2024 IPC permanent rule (43 Ok Reg, eff. 9-14-26) replaced the IPC 2018 adoption (38 Ok Reg 2726, eff. 9-14-21) on September 14, 2026, so the 2024 edition is in force on the retrieval date.
