RISBC-3 Rhode Island Plumbing Code, 510-RICR-00-00-3, adopts and incorporates the International Plumbing Code, 2021 edition, with Rhode Island amendments set out in the regulation itself (section 3.3); authority R.I. Gen. Laws 23-27.3-100.1.5 and 23-27.3-109.1. The Secretary of State rules site lists the current filing as Active, effective 12/01/2025, superseding the prior IPC 2018 adoption. The regulation's older authority text still recites the 2018 edition in one section; the incorporated-materials section (3.2) and the rules-site status control: 2021 edition. Licensing classes include Master Plumber, Contractor Master, Journeyperson Plumber, and apprentice registration, plus irrigator and water-filtration categories.
